Involvement

I was chosen as a consultant and adviser during the ‘idea’ and planning stages of the project, which took approximately 6 months. During this time I advised on aspects such as usability, features, wireframes, design, scope planning, technical difficulty and potential timescales. After kick off my primary role was Project Manager, where I had to look after two development teams, one client (VortexVid) team and one agency (Welford Media) team as well as keep non-technical stakeholders up to date (and happy). During the project there were many changes to the original brief and as Project Manager I had to ensure the stakeholders (and both development teams) knew how it would effect the project, in terms of cost and timescales, well in advanced. During this project I utilised a combination of both Kanban and Scrum processes allied with a number of online project management and communication tools.
